DIY Bat Gear

SnapBacks & Muscle Shirts

This is a fun activity that you can do with your kids or simply for the fact that you rather make your own apparel and not spend a fortune. My reasoning happened to be both!

DISCLOSURE: This is not an activity for the impatient!

Materials Needed:
Batman Snapback
-plain black snapback (Mostly any arts & Crafts store)
- DC Comics Batman Patch (Joann-Fabrics)
-Studs (Joann-Fabrics has the best variety for what you prefer)

Batman Muscle Shirt
- Any color T-shirt **I prefer obnoxious colors for the gym**(Any craft store that sells shirts)
-Scissors OBVI FOR CUTTING THE SHIRT
- Transfer paper of your choice, ***I prefer using JOLEE's Easy Image transfer paper for Dark T-shirts. I love the brand because they make it so easy for you, they even have their own website were you can make your designs, so you don't have to buy software to create designs (I mean unless your a pro like that)***

Making both the SnapBack and Muscle shirt were fairly simple, just tedious and very time consuming. I bought the Studs that have the sharp ends so all I had to do was poke through the visor, so that made it easier than ironing them on.

For the T-shirt if you decide to use Jolee's website the website is:
http://joleeseasyimage.com/
From there they will give you instructions on how to get your image started

Prior to printing figure out what way you have to insert your paper in order for it to print on the side you want. The transfer paper has a back side with lines on it, that is the side you will want to make sure isn't printed on!

Once you get that squared away, you are ready to print!

So now that you have your sheet in front of you, you probably think
"oh ok all i have left to do is iron it on" WRONG

The first thing you must do now, is to figure out whether you want the white to be ironed on with your decal
Lining up the cut letters and decal
NOTE: IF YOU WANT JUST THE DECAL TO BE IRONED ON, YOU MUST CUT OUT EACH  DECAL AND PLACE IT ON YOUR SHIRT AS YOU WISH! THIS INCLUDES CUTTING OUT EVERY LETTER YOU HAD! REASON WHY I SAID ITS TEDIOUS!

FAST FORWARD HOURS LATER:  You are now ready to iron it on!! YEY!!!
Place the 1-100 decals how you want on your shirt, once they're all fitted, lay a thin towel or some type of clothe over it, and place your PREHEATED iron over it. Make sure to apply full pressure on the shirt with the iron. Easiest way to do this is by using both hands on the iron. This will make sure that the whole decal is getting the love it deserves!

AND WALLAHHH YOU ARE DONE!!

The Ultimate Tie DYe Cake Trial

For the record...I am NOT A BAKER...I REPEAT I AM NOT A BAKER!!!

I've been trying to debunk random recipes, and I think I've seen enough FAILS for this, that I was intrigued to trying it myself and sharing my experience!

So the picture above is one of the many fantasy pictures that they use to give Pinterest users false hope on becoming a baker.

-Duff's Tie Dye Cake Mix
-3 Eggs
